TSTE14 Analog Filters
TSTE14 Analog filters teaches the basics of the design and implementation of analog filters. The course includes approximation theory as well as passive and active filter structures and their implementations. It covers the same topics as TSEI68 Analog Filters, but at the level A instead of G2.
Course topics
- Basic concepts and properties of analog filters
- Approximation theory
- Frequency transformations
- Doubly resistively terminated filters
- Passive filters with discrete circuit elements
- Passive filters with distributed circuit elements
- Active filters with discrete circuit elements
- Operational amplifiers
- Active second-order sections
- Sensitivity properties of filter realizations
- Coupled forms, immitance simulation, and topological simulation
- Filter design using Matlab
